Talented Guyanese all-rounder Jonathan Van Lange has been named as a replacement for wicketkeeper/batter Amir Jangoo in the Guyana Amazon Warriors’ squad for the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League, set for July 23 to August 1 in Guyana.
The enforced change by the reigning champions was made following Jangoo’s selection to the West Indies Test squad.
Van Lange, a West Indies Under-19 standout, scored a century on his senior Four-Day debut for Guyana Harpy Eagles against West Indies Academy in May this year and followed up with an even fifty in the final of the West Indies Four-Day Championship against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force.

A hard-hitting middle-order batter and lively medium-pacer, the 19-year-old has also been named in the Guyana Amazon Warriors squad for the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League, billed for August 7 to September 20.
