Fabian Allen among stars as San Francisco Unicorns confirm squad for GSL 2026
The San Francisco Unicorns have today confirmed their 14-man squad for the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League (GSL) 2026, ahead of the franchise’s historic debut in the tournament as the first-ever Major League Cricket (MLC) side to compete on the GSL stage.
The third edition of the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League runs from July 23 to August 1, with all matches played at Providence Stadium, Guyana, Providence, East Bank Demerara (EBD). The Unicorns join Guyana Amazon Warriors (CPL), Lahore Qalandars (PSL), Desert Vipers (ILT20) and Perth Scorchers XI (BBL) to complete the five-team line-up.
The confirmed San Francisco Unicorns squad for GSL 2026 is as follows: Connor Esterhuizen; Peter Siddle; Oliver Peake; Gideon Peters; Callum Stow; Tim Robinson; Hassan Khan; Anirudh Immanuel; Saideep Ganesh; Karima Gore; Fabian Allen; Hammad Azam; Sanjay Krishnamurthi and Ghulam Mudassar.
The Unicorns will be looking to translate their strong recent Major League Cricket form into success on the global stage, having reached the MLC final in 2024 and finished third in 2025.
Their participation in the GSL marks a significant milestone in the growth of franchise cricket in the United States and its integration into the international T20 calendar.
