Edghill visits Huawei HQ in China to examine innovations in smart transport systems, AI
Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill, and Head of Procurement and Contracts, Andy Mahadeo, recently visited the global headquarters of Huawei in Shenzhen, China, as part of official engagements.
The visit provided an up-close look at the technology giant’s latest innovations in telecommunications, digital infrastructure, smart transportation systems, artificial intelligence, and smart city solutions.
Discussions focused on emerging technologies and their potential application in supporting Guyana’s rapidly expanding infrastructure network and ongoing digital transformation efforts.
