Police discovered a quantity of cannabis on Friday during an operation at Mahdia Arcade, Region Eight (Potaro-Siparuni). Based on reports received, during the exercise, ranks conducted a search at Mahdia Arcade, during which a black plastic bag containing a quantity of cannabis was found concealed in a concrete block.
The cannabis was taken to the Mahdia Police Station, where it was weighed and amounted to 88 grams. At the time of the operation, no arrests were made as investigations continues.
