A motorcyclist lost his life in an accident this morning at New Amsterdam, Region Six (East Berbice – Corentyne).
Dead is Robin Bansie, formerly of Fort Ordinance, Canje, Berbice.
Reports are at around 2:00hrs today, he was riding a motorcycle with a trade plate, when he lost control and crashed.
Reports also indicate that Bansie was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and was under the influence of alcohol.
Investigations are ongoing.
