Danny Rajkumar, 35, a labourer from South Better Hope, East Coast Demerara (ECD), was remanded to prison on a charge of Breaking and Entering and Larceny.
Police stated that Rajkumar was arrested on Sunday in connection with the Breaking and Entering and Larceny committed against a Mon Repos, ECD businessman, which occurred sometime between May 23 and May 24, 2026, at his premises.
However, police instituted charges against Rajkumar, and as such, he made a virtual appearance before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him. He was remanded to prison and will make his next court appearance on June 15, 2026.
