Fisherman stabbed to death at Albion

Police are investigating the alleged murder of 34-year-old fisherman, Franklyn “Frank” or “Franky” Sauers, of Glasgow Housing Scheme, who was fatally stabbed at a house at Albion Front on Sunday night.

Police said Sauers was found lying in the living room with stab wounds to his ribs and neck and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Port Mourant Public Hospital.

Another fisherman, aged 28, of Albion Front, was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody as investigations continue.
