Guyana, South Korea explore partnerships in technology, agriculture 

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hugh Hilton Todd has met with Seijoong Kwon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana.

The visit was aimed at advancing bilateral economic and trade cooperation between Guyana and Korea.

The exchanges highlighted opportunities for partnership in key sectors such as technology and agriculture.

Other key areas identified for strengthening bilateral relations included climate change, energy security, and increased private sector engagement.

During the meeting, the two sides also underscored the importance of multilateral cooperation, reflecting on the successful tenure over the past year of both Guyana and South Korea as non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
