Minister of Education Sonia Parag and Minister of Home Affairs Oneidge Walrond today met with Director of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU) James Singh to discuss ways to address the issue of drugs in schools.
According to a brief statement from Minister Walrond via her Facebook Page, the meeting was intended to “advance a coordinated national approach to drug prevention in our schools.”
She noted that “strengthening collaboration between education and law enforcement will help ensure our students are equipped with accurate information and empowered to make responsible choices.”
