US Special Envoy Kristi Noem is in Guyana to underscore the United States’ integral partnership and continued leadership on shared security priorities in the region.
This includes dismantling drug cartels and transnational criminal organizations, disrupting firearms trafficking, discouraging illegal immigration, and ensuring peace and stability throughout the hemisphere.
US Special Envoy Noem will meet with President Dr Irfaan Ali and senior Guyanese civilian and defense leaders.
She will also meet with US energy companies in the country.
