President Dr Irfaan Ali, will make a State Visit to Belize from February 1 to 3, 2026.
The visit is expected to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between the two CARICOM member states. During his stay, President Ali will address the opening of the new session of Parliament.
As CARICOM’s lead head of Government for agriculture, President Ali will also engage with Belize’s productive sector in an effort to promote greater regional cooperation, investment, and trade. Officials anticipate that several cooperation agreements will be signed during the visit.
In addition to his parliamentary address, President Ali is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Dame Froyla T’zalam, Governor-General of Belize, and John Briceño, Prime Minister of Belize.
Belize and Guyana have long maintained strong and friendly relations rooted in shared commitments to regional solidarity, development, and integration. (Greater Belize Media)
