A security officer from Brooklyn, New York, was on Wednesday busted with a quantity of marijuana at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA).
Bradley Hibbert, 36, of Lot 759 Hendrix Street, Brooklyn, New York, was an incoming passenger from the United States.
On the day in question, ranks of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU), acting on information received, conducted a search on the passenger, leading to the discovery of the illegal substance, which amounted to 15.758 kilograms.
The suspect was arrested as investigations continue.
