Opportunities in shipping, aviation, other sectors discussed as PSC engages CEAPI delegation
The Private Sector Commission (PSC) recently met with Ms. Nuria Vilanova, President of the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI), along with a 12-member delegation representing several Latin American countries.
During the engagement, the delegation expressed strong interest in having the PSC join CEAPI, signaling a commitment to strengthening regional private sector collaboration.
Discussions focused on fostering investment opportunities and building strategic synergies among companies in Panama, Colombia, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Guyana.
Emphasis was also placed on enhancing public-private partnerships to support sustainable economic growth.
Key sectors highlighted included infrastructure, shipping, agriculture, financing, market expansion, and aviation.
PSC Chairman Gerry Gouveia Jr. provided an overview of the Commission’s work and outlined the wide range of investment opportunities available in Guyana, underscoring the country’s potential as a hub for regional business expansion.
The PSC said it welcomes the engagement and looks forward to the opportunities and partnerships that will emerge from these discussions.
