The third edition of the tournament will take place from July 23 to August 1, 2026, at the Guyana National Stadium. The tournament will feature five international T20 teams competing for a US$1 million prize pool.
Renowned for their winning culture, strong leadership, and consistent performances in Australia’s KFC Big Bash League, the Scorchers bring a formidable pedigree to the Global Super League. Their inclusion underscores the GSL’s growing reputation as a premier international T20 competition, uniting champion teams from around the cricketing world in Guyana.
The ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League is designed to showcase elite franchise talent while strengthening cricket’s global footprint. Hosted in Guyana – a nation with a proud cricketing heritage – the tournament provides a world-class stage for international clubs to compete for global supremacy.
Chairman of the Global Super League, Sir Clive Lloyd welcomed the Scorchers’ participation.

We are proud to welcome them to Guyana and look forward to seeing their brand of cricket excite fans across the region and around the world.”
Playing as the Perth Scorchers XI, the current Big Bash League champions will be the third Australian team to talk part in the GSL, with Cricket Victoria and Hobart Hurricanes having also taken part in the tournament.
Chief Executive Officer of WA Cricket John Stephenson stated, “We are extremely excited by the prospect of taking part in the third edition of the GSL. The Perth Scorchers represent everything that is uniquely Western Australian and the GSL provides us with a chance to showcase this at an international level. The tournament has gone from strength-to-strength since its inception, and we look forward to seeing how our team goes on the global stage.”
