Two Venezuelan nationals have been arrested for the unlawful possession of two 16-gauge shotguns.
The suspects, Jorllis Lacourt and Argenis Perez, were arrested by officers of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU) during an operation at Parika, East Bank Essequibo on Saturday.
They were handed over to the Guyana Police Force (GPF).
