Drivers’ licences, police promotions exams to be migrated to Guyana Digital School

President Dr Irfaan Ali has announced that the theoretical examination for drivers’ licences will soon be available on the Guyana Digital School.
He made the announcement on Wednesday during the opening ceremony for the Annual Police Officers’ Conference, noting that he has already engaged with the Ministers of Education and Home Affairs.
“I’ve asked them to migrate to the Guyana Digital School all examinations that will be independent from the Guyana Police Force,” he said.
In addition to the drivers’ licences examination, he said authorities will look to migrate police promotion examinations.
“Matters of examinations, random setting of questions, independent marking will now be migrated to the Guyana Digital School,” the President said, adding that the process will be aided by artificial intelligence.
“We’re gonna dump everything on the regulations and the laws, and AI will generate the questions, one hour before the exams,” he explained.
“Same thing for the theoretical exams for the licences,” he added.
