Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport

consistent with Guyana’s Low Carbon Development Strategy (LCDS).

Officials from MAG and the Mowlem Group reassured the CEO that the project remains on

𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: A major initiative to boost exports from Guyana’s growing agriculture and fisheries sectors.

𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱: Featuring a multi-level parking facility along with food concessions, local arts and craft shops, and outlets offering locally produced goods for both departing and arriving passengers.

Terminal 2 design includes a range of premium amenities, including multiple restaurants, duty-free stores, passenger lounges, and other world-class services expected of modern international airports.

CJIA said it remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering a facility that not only serves
today’s passengers but also positions Guyana as a premier aviation hub in the region.
