An accident along the Riverstown Public Road, Essequibo Coast, on Sunday has claimed the life of 18-year-old Nayomi Singh.
Inews understands that Singh from Husi’t Dieren, Essequibo Coast was driving a black motorcar when she crashed into a utility pole after swerving to avoid hitting a motorcyclist.
Singh was pulled from the wreckage and taken to the Suddie Public Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
