3D printing company 3D Lee Hub has achieved a major national milestone by becoming the first company in the 3D printing industry to earn the Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS)-approved Made in Guyana certification.
The recognition grants the company the right to use the “Made in Guyana” mark on its locally designed and manufactured 3D-printed products.
The certification covers a wide range of 3D Lee Hub’s products, including its popular custom models, NFC keychains, novelty items, and gift products, among others, each proudly designed and produced in Guyana.
The Made in Guyana certificate was on Wednesday, January 9, presented at the Bureau’s Head Office to Chief Executive Officer Ackeem Thomas and Manager Chelsea Thomas in the presence of 3D Generalist Atio Chryst, GNBS Executive Director Trevor Bassoo, Head of Certification Services Keon Rankin, and Head of Corporate Communications Lloyd David.
Reflecting on the certification journey, the team described the process as smooth and seamless, noting that working with GNBS was both easy and encouraging. The team highlighted the professionalism, transparency, and support provided at every step.
This certification is a crucial step forward for 3D Lee Hub, strengthening and ensuring consumer confidence, enhancing brand credibility, and opening doors to new local and even regional opportunities.
