The Suriname-Guyana Chamber of Commerce (SGCC) has announced the arrival of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) Trade Mission delegation to Guyana this evening, marking the official start of the Guyana leg of this landmark regional initiative.
The delegation received a warm welcome courtesy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Guyana (Protocol Office), and by the Pegasus Hotel Guyana (our esteemed venue and hospitality partner for this leg of the mission).
The Guyana segment opened this morning at the Pegasus Corporate Centre, with a formal Opening Ceremony and Business Seminar, followed by two days of back-to-back B2B meetings carefully curated by the SGCC to foster tangible trade opportunities.
The Guyana leg will culminate with a Closing Cocktail Reception on June 11; which will also celebrate the soft launch of Maraj Air Conditioning Ltd’s operations in Guyana.
This initiative reflects the shared commitment of SGCC and TTMA to deepening trade ties, strengthening regional value chains, and creating new pathways for investment. It also aligns with SGCC’s guiding slogan: “Towards Improved Investment and Economic Relations.”
The mission will continue in Suriname on June 13-14, 2025, as the spirit of meaningful, regional collaboration advances – bridging borders through business.
