Two sisters, ages 12 and 15 years old from Glasgow Housing Scheme, Sisters Village, Region Six who were reported missing since June 21, 2025 was on Thursday evening found in Police Division Two (Essequibo).
Police stated that ranks were on mobile patrol when they were informed that the two girls were lying in a hammock at the Supenaam waterfront on the Essequibo Coast, Region Two.
They informed the Police that they were from Sisters Village, East Berbice and that they had travelled to Parika from where they took a speedboat to Essequibo Coast, “looking for someone”.
Efforts are underway to have the person contacted as the girls claimed. The mother of the children was also contacted and arrangements were made for her to receive them.
