A contractor died on Wednesday night after crashing into several parked trucks along the Riverstown Public Road, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam).
He has been identified as 28-year-old Kevin Bacchus of Queenstown, Essequibo Coast.
According to reports, Bacchus was driving a canter truck when he lost control and collided with several parked trucks.
He was picked up and rushed to the Suddie Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. His body was later transported to the Suddie Mortuary awaiting a post-mortem examination.
Police investigations are ongoing.
