Two children from Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) died as a result of dengue last month.
This was revealed today at a meeting of the Regional Democratic Council (RDC).
The children who died are Lokesh Ibrahim, 12 and Jaden (only name given), 6.
The RDC was informed that for April alone, there were 332 cases of dengue recorded in the region.
